What's the current issue? New players are constantly being suggested to go to ::mbox to kill penguins, only to be met with 1-2 multi-hitting people farming clues and Xebos invites, this is not only overwhelming but off putting for new players, especially those who cannot pick up other people's loot. What's your suggested way of fixing it? Making the first floor of ::Mbox non-multi would force the players farming to use the portal and move to other floors, freeing up the first floor for those (usually very new) players who can't get any kills because of the farming. How will this benefit player/server? New players stick around longer, being able to train prayer with penguin bones and get their "essential" beginner gear How could this be expanded in future? In an ideal world there would be a new zone introduced with those beginner npcs that are only killable by players with a low "time played", giving new players a chance to get their prayer up, get their double xp rings and mbox pets etc. What negative effect could this have? (Think eco, Item balances, Overpowered) The only negative I can think of is players having 1 less floor to use, although one "could" be added to account for this, the dev time needed would be minimal.
